Founded in 1953 as a hub for North Texas giving, Communities Foundation of Texas was looking to reinvigorate their brand when we first met with them in 2012.
During our discovery process, we learned that they were commonly referred to by their donors as “Communities,” so we amplified that word within the hierarchy of their logo. A multicolored star that spoke to their Texas heritage replaced their previous mark, with different colored ribbons representing their myriad initiatives. From building signage to business cards, ad campaigns to annual reports, and everything in between, we contemporized their brand in meaningful, personal and positive ways, ultimately helping them connect with a new generation of philanthropists.
Communities Foundation of Texas is a philanthropic hub serving communities in North Texas. Through donor-advised funds, scholarships, initiatives such as North Texas Giving Day and CFT for Business, they help connect donors and community members with nonprofits and charities making a difference in our region.
