Social media animations illustrated interesting animal facts in a fun way to encourage supporters to donate $35 in honor of their 35th anniversary. Did you know that a giraffe can run up to 35 mph, that a cheetah can eat up to 35 lbs of food in a week and that an Arabian oryx weighs approximately 35 lbs at 6 weeks of age?
To celebrate Fossil Rim Wildlife Center’s 35th anniversary, we extended their iconic logo into a 35th anniversary badge to be made into pins and other swag. In addition, we created a series of animated GIFs for social media that use fun and interesting animal facts to announce the anniversary, in a campaign that encouraged supporters to donate “$35 for 35 years.”
Fossil Rim Wildlife Center, located just outside of Glen Rose, Texas, is widely known to the public for its one-of-a-kind drive-through tours, featuring more than 1,000 animals living in natural environments. It’s less well-known that the center is one of the nation’s leading conservation institutions for endangered species, participating in species breeding and reintroduction programs, groundbreaking research and training of wildlife professionals.
