This invitation for a holiday fundraiser mixes equal parts fun, festivity and even a little bit of education (did you know that cheetahs chirp – and can you spot the difference between the horns of an addax and an oryx?). Because the party happened to land on December 13, we played on the concept of the “12 days of Christmas” to illustrate a few of the wide range of important species and causes at Fossil Rim – with the “13th” day being the party itself.
The invitation was designed as a unique, vertical accordion fold and printed with a subtle metallic ink to give it that holiday shimmer, while staying true to Fossil Rim’s olive, orange and tan brand colors.
Fossil Rim Wildlife Center, located just outside of Glen Rose, Texas, is widely known to the public for its one-of-a-kind drive-through tours, featuring more than 1,000 animals living in natural environments. It’s less well-known that the center is one of the nation’s leading conservation institutions for endangered species, participating in species breeding and reintroduction programs, groundbreaking research and training of wildlife professionals.
